Athletics

Today year one, two and three did athletics.The year ones and twos only did sprints and the year threes did house relays,long distance ,long jump and sprints.I liked house realys best but I think all of the activtys are fun.For the long distance we had to run three laps around the field.It was hard work but I made it.I like athletics and I can't wait for the day!

Production

Last week we had three productions. In the production I was a red chinese dancer. We had to learn a different dance to the other people. Our production was called the Button Box. Our class did the Frog King.  It was about a Frog King who boasted about him being the ruler of the whole world. I like singing and watching the other children in the Chocolate Button and Leprechaun Button.

How cows digest food

We have milk everyday but how is it made? Firstly cows eat 70kg of grass each day.
Then it goes through a cows first 2 stomachs and turned into cud .
Next they burp it up and chew again for 1 minute. After that it is crushed into lettle pieces and is absorbed into its bloodstream.
Finally it goes into the udders and the cow is milked.The milk goes to a factory where it is bottled and collected by milk trucks and sent to sops where people by it.
Now you know how grass is turned into milk.

Goldilocks and the Three Bears

This term we have been looking at persuasive writing. 

We looked at the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We talked about whether she should have gone into the house or not. Here is my poster. 

Our grass seed expermnt

On  Friday room 9 each planted some grass seeds. First we put soil into yoghurt pots then  we   got MissDippie  to sprinkle gass seeds into the pots filed with soil. After that  we gave it some water and put them on the art table. Miss Dippie reminded us that it was not her job to water them and we had to put in just the right amount in or the plant seed would be unhappy Experiments are fun!

The flower hunt around the school

Yesterday room9 did a flower hunt.First we went behind room9 to look for some flowers.We founed some roses and  a daisy.Then we all went round the back of room 11 and 10 rouned to the parth. My favourite flower was the bottle brush and the rose.The whole class had to drow a flower.I drow a rose it was red out a line and pink on the inside.I love are topic!
